George och KIF Örebro är överens om en förlängning Även årets tränare förlänger med KIF Örebro Vi spelade match mot Skyllberg i söndags. Lite yrkvaket, mycket bolltittande och vad hände egentligen med ytorna tjejer? Det fanns en hel del att jobba på, men så fort vi fick ner axlarna och upp mungiporna började det fungera bättre. George Papachristou förlänger med KIF Örebro

Talanglagets tränare George Papachristou förlänger även han kontraktet med KIF Örebro. George som kom till KIF inför den här säsongen var med och förde talanglaget till en fin bronsplats i Svenska Spels F19-slutspel. Vi är glada att George fortsätter som tränare hos oss då vi har varit mycket nöjda med hans utvecklande arbete med vårt talanglag. A-lag 0kommentarer

Rickard Nilsson förlänger med KIF Örebro

Rickard Nilsson förlänger sitt kontrakt som tränare hos KIF Örebro. –Vi är mycket glada för att Rickard fortsätter som tränare hos oss Han har gjort ett fantastiskt jobb med laget de tre år han varit hos oss, säger en mycket nöjd Charlotta Nordenberg, ordförande i KIF Örebro. Årets säsong har varit KIF Örebros absolut bästa: –Att vi kom tvåa i årets allsvenska och därmed kvalificerade till en plats i Champions League nästa år är verkligen roligt, men har krävt stora insatser både på och utanför plan. Rickard har bidragit till att ge laget kontinuitet, kompetens och stadga vilket är en stor del i framgången. Vi har det största förtroendet för honom. Därför satsar vi också på att han kan gå tränarutbildningen Professional Licence/Diploma under de kommande två åren. Rickard Nilsson har varit KIF Örebros tränare sedan 2011 och kom då närmast från Karlslunds IF herrlag där han varit tränare. Han blev också utsedd till Årets tränare på Fotbollsgalan i förra veckan. Hey coach!

Season came to finish this weekend after the final 4 that was hosted in Behrn arena. It has been a nice journey. From the beginning of the season we faced a lot of difficulties like the change in the coaching staff, injuries, players moving away etc. We said that we want to work hard and set goals step by step and that, we did. Especially after the summer break we increased the pace, we worked harder, we came closer and united as a TEAM and I was very happy to see a lot of you stepping up and taking more responsibilities.The same for the 1st team players that helped us, they took responsibility and they became one with us! It was of course the cooperation with local clubs, which we wish to continue and take it into a much better level next year, as well as, the cooperation with the 1st team that really gave as a good boost! Specifically for this weekend, it was an intense one, which I hope everyone enjoyed! Finishing 3rd gives as a “sweet and sour taste” since on the one hand, we should not neglect that we are the 3rd best team in the country!!! On the other hand, everyone who watched the games during the weekend, I think would agree with the fact that we deserved more, but this is life and this is football... The best dont get always what they deserve. Congratulations to all the clubs participating in the final 4 and especially to the F19 champions IK Sirius. I told you during the weekend that you are winners! And winners you are! Winners are those who fight and never give up! And our team never gave up! We showed a fighting spirit and we gave our best throughout!! Specially, I want to point out some things about our game on Sunday. Everything is nice and easy after a victory… Everyone is close to you, has something nice to say, to support and everything in a team works great... It is in difficult times when a team, the staff and its players have to show CHARACTER, gather their pieces, their disappointment, lift their heads up and find the strength to stay focused, to find motivation, keep the spirit up and be ready for what comes next! On Sunday, you did exactly that! You were focused, you followed our instructions in the dressing room like a “precise Swiss watch”, and you placed your best effort in the field all together like a TEAM, even from the dressing room we could tell that you looked "hungry" and determined to win! I, and I think I can speak for the whole coaching staff, so, WE are damn proud of you!!
